The BAS has two large libraries, both open to members for research and general interest.
Reprint Library
The BAS Reprint Library is housed at Liverpool Museum. Although it was primarily established to hold a comprehensive catalogue of reprints on arachnological subjects, it also has a large collection of books, journals and periodicals.
The library contains approx. 16,000 reprints on all aspects of arachnology, these may be borrowed only by members. In addition the Librarian holds copies of Zoological Record and various other reference books (not available for loan), but the Librarian will carry out searches to aid members locate articles of interest. The library catalogue is available online at the library index (Members only).

Slide Library
The BAS Slide Library has a large collection of photographic transparencies on a variety of arachnological subjects - the majority donated by members. These are available to members for use in lectures and research. Five packs of photographs were produced for sale to members for similar uses (these are no longer available).
